Version History Speed unlock is back and fixed! We also have other bug fixes and minor UI updates. 1.09 Jul 28 Minor bugfixes, as well as a new firmware upgrade path, which will bring all scooters onto the latest firmware. This update should resolve any lingering issues with speed unlock, as well as any rarer issues with unlocking scooters. Thank you for your patience with us over the holiday season! 1.08 12/31/2024 Speed unlock has been fixed in this version. On the dashboard, please press and hold (long press) the Speed tile in the app to unlock your scooter's top speed. Please ensure you are on the latest version of scooter firmware before attempting the speed unlock. Ride safely. This special mode is intended for experienced riders only. 1.07 10/02/2024 Minor bugfixes, new scooter firmware, and referral rewards! Check this out on our website: unagiscooters.com, or through the link in the app. 1.06 09/06/2024 Ride Recording (beta) is an opt-in experimental new feature which allows you to track your Unagi rides via the app. Your route, battery usage, and distance are recorded so that you can refine or vary your routes. Access your ride history and review your saved rides at your leisure. 1.05 03/20/2024 Unagi's app development team has been hard at work improving the UX/UI of the app! We have new features, and hopefully a smoother user experience for all users.
New Features:
- Name your scooter! Everybody has a ton of Bluetooth smart devices nowadays, so why not set your scooter apart from the rest?
- Pedestrian mode! Move under your own power with no assistance from the electric motors. Don't worry, the brakes still work, we checked! Access this mode through the ride mode button on the dashboard.
- Serious UX/UI improvements. Tooltips, dialog boxes, helpful and non-intrusive messaging to help navigate all the features we have in the app. As always, feedback is welcome. 1.04 12/13/2023 New Features:

- Adjust your horn frequency to your liking (found under Settings)
- Unlock the full potential of your scooter with just the press of a button. It's time to go fast! Always wear a helmet. We suggest trying ride modes 1 and 2 until you are comfortable with the scooter.
- Bug fixes! Firmware fixes! Minor annoyances have been addressed. 1.03 10/10/2023 New UX/UI enhancements to improve your app experience! We also incorporated some user feedback, squashed some bugs, and did some routine maintenance. 1.02 06/02/2023 New enhanced feature: Estimated ride distance is now even more accurate, with optional user inputs for rider weight and type of terrain.
